Trident Solar is an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Class A contractor with its Alternative Energy Systems specialty license. Our President and our Operations Manager hold their board certifications as PV Professionals through the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). This distinction represents the highest accreditation in the solar field, awarded only to industry leaders. To have two NABCEP PVIPs on board is truly remarkable.

Matt Shorrock
Matt Shorrock, Trident Solar’s president, retired from active duty at the highest echelons of the Navy SEAL Teams after a decorated career. With a keen interest in continuing to serve after the military, Matt decided to embark on a journey to become a leader in the energy transition. He cut his teeth early in his solar career with years of experience as a solar installer and crew lead. Matt then served as Chief Operations Officer for two solar companies before bringing Trident Solar to market.
